MYTV Broadcasting was appointed to develop and operate the infrastructure and network facilities for Digital TV in Malaysia. MYTV serves as a platform for Free Digital TV that is made available for all Malaysians. This Digital TV platform also provides access to more content for viewers, while creating opportunities for content creators and owners, as well as new opportunities for broadcasters to expand their reach and business.
Project
MYTV was appointed Common Integrated Infrastructure Provider to transform the nation’s broadcast system from analogue to digital. The National Broadcasting Digital Infrastructure is part of a national agenda to transform the country’s broadcasting industry through digitalization with the aim of improving the living standards of Malaysians as the country gears up towards Shared Prosperity Vision (SPV) 2030.

MYTV Broadcasting is the provider of Digital Terrestrial Television(DTT) services infrastructure and network facilities for Malaysia since 2017.
Free To Air (FTA)
MYTV Free To Air Digital TV Infrastructure is the biggest in the SEA region with network coverage of 95.3% of populated area via DTT and 100% via Direct to Home (DTH) satellite.
Aggregator
MYTV is Malaysia’s premier free-to-air content aggregator, connecting content providers with funders, channel owners and the viewers on television.

Mandate
Since 2017, all Digital TV sets in Malaysia are mandated to have DVB-T2 tuners. These tuners are able to receive MYTV’s DTT services and as of 2020, there are a total of 7 million units in the country.
Viewership
All digital tv (IDTV) and DVB-T2 decoder sold or distributed and tuned to MYTV will result in an increase in viewership.
Our Reach
With DTT, all broadcasters have 95.3% DTT coverage in populated area, complemented by 100% DTH coverage nationwide. The best FTA TV media platform to reach 32 million population. According to a survey by the latest survey 2022, there are current 6.4 million household viewers that are connected to the MYTV platform.
